EXPERIMENTAL / SENSORY DESIGN

EXPERIMENTAL / SENSORY DESIGN

The world around us is multi-sensory, so why do we still design things that are not experienced with all our senses? I dedicated a lot of research projects to the topic of multi-sensory design and made it one of my favourite areas to include in my design practice.
As an experimental designer, I love designing products and experiences that can be explored by more than just one sense – Making these interactions more engaging, more emotional and memorable.

Throughout my professional and academic careers, I spent a significant amount of time researching the different senses, how they interact with one another, and how they function independently. What happens when there is no sensory sensation or there is too much?

Especially my work experience at the Bompas & Parr studio taught me how spaces, events and products change when we start to think about all the senses. Check out the selected project that have evolved throughout the years and let me know what you think.
