How do we experience a car ? We sense it with our eyes, with touch, we hear it, smell, feel the speed. A multi sensory experience that is planned from the moment you see it till you start your ride and drive. The world we live in is changing – Screens are taking over the car, Buttons are either reduced or eliminated, entertainment is a must-have, a new generation of  in-car experiences is needed.

Mercedes is one of the best premium in-car experience creator. During my time at this company, I was able to contribute to the strategic development of these sensory experiences of their fleet. I worked as a designer in a team of engineers to help them visualize and come up with new ideas, contributing to new innovations. This included focusing on new technologies, finding opportunities in implementation and new ways of designing theses interactions. Through workshops, testing and evaluation we not only developed these ideas further but also were able to create patents that secured the potential we have discovered.
